The exciting sounds of contemporary music from South Africa will be wafting throughout the beautiful Victorian interior of St Mary’s Church Ashton on Mersey in a special one night only concert on Wednesday 14^th July at 7.30 p.m.

The concert will showcase the music of Trevor Sampson and his nine piece band who are concluding a European tour with this once only event in Greater Manchester.

As well as being an accomplished musician, Trevor is director of ‘Restoring the Sound’ a musical project that works amongst some of the most deprived young people in Cape Town.

Trevor will be talking about the work as well as sharing some of his unique songs, many of which are used in praise and worship events throughout the world.

Everyone is invited to this evening which promises to be inspirational and a chance to hear a truly great musician. Tickets are available from Free. We hope you will want to offer a donation as you arrive. We suggest a donation of £5.00 or more, or £2.00 for unwaged people.

All remaining proceeds will be donated to Restoring the Sound.
